Phantom Shafts come ready to fletch.
Optional: Wipe with Acetone or Denat. Alcohol
Insert Bohning Classic Nock
Optional: Install nock bushing with Bohning Power Bond (a cyanoacrylate (C-A) glue joint is too brittle for impact resistance and will break down with use)
Set shaft in fletch jig
Set clamp for 2* angle left or 2* angle right
Place fletch in clamp
Place a thin line of C-A along entire fletch base
Set clamp in position near and parallel to shaft
Press clamp evenly toward shaft until fletch makes solid contact along its entire length.
Hold for ten seconds
Remove clamp
Repeat until shaft is fletched
Remove shaft from jig
Allow arrow to set for ½ to 1 hour
Wipe fletch bases with acetone
Cut to length with high rpm cutoff tool
Swab inside of shaft point-end with q-tip & acetone
Install points with Power Bond
Wipe excess glue with acetone
Allow shafts to set for 10 hours
